The SMB Innovation Summit 2022 (SME Innovation Summit) was held in Orlando, Florida from May 24-26, 2022 at the prestigious OMNI Resort at ChampionsGate

It was the first of three events organized by SAP during the same period, and the only one held in North America. A long-awaited networking event that brought together hundreds of SAP industry leaders after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The center welcomed 700 to 800 people and around 60 to 70 kiosks were set up there to talk about the latest SAP news. The summit provided an opportunity to experience what's new from SAP before their official launch, whether it's content from SAP or solutions presented by all the integrated software vendors.

Corey Mendelsohn, President of NewIntelligence , tells us about the recent SAP conference in Orlando, Florida.

Who is the conference for? Who should take part in this event?

All attendees were partners who implement SAP, whether SAP Business One , SAP By Design or S4 , or integrated software vendors.

You go to an event like this because you want to meet other partners. It's about attracting partnerships one way or another.

I had the chance to meet other partners from all over North America and overseas. I had the opportunity to meet people that I would not have had the opportunity to meet in normal times, including five or six new partners with whom I was able to discuss a possible collaboration since the event. It was a huge advantage. Everyone benefits from partnerships.

Overall, I was thrilled to attend the SMB Innovation Summit in Orlando. It was well worth the time, money and distance to travel from Montreal, Canada to make beneficial connections with brilliant SAP experts from America, Canada and Latin America who are changing the way SAP helps businesses to succeed.

After what felt like a decade of confinement, social distancing and meeting zoom after zoom after zoom, being able to get together safely, see each other face to face, enjoy a cocktail and, yes, even the good old handshake long forgotten, made the experience even more memorable. Looking back, rediscovering that timeless ingredient that makes so many companies successful, the secret sauce of human collaboration, will always be a decisive factor that will inspire me to participate in partner summits such as the one held in last May in Orlando, Florida, and profit from it.

So, if you have the opportunity, don't hesitate, go and meet your partners to collect their positive reactions and get their comments on your own offers, to finally immerse yourself in one of the best kept secrets, namely the power of partnership.
